Hannes Ametsreiter resigns as CEO of Telekom Austria Group (Ad-hoc)

Today the Telekom Austria Group (VSE: TKA, OTC US: TKAGY) announces that Hannes Ametsreiter has asked the Supervisory Board of Telekom Austria AG for a mutually agreed premature termination of his contract. Today the Supervisory Board and Hannes Ametsreiter have agreed that he will resign as Chief Executive Officer of Telekom Austria AG as well as Chief Executive Officer of A1 Telekom Austria AG per 31 July 2015.

Telekom Austria Confirms Acquisition of Slovenian Telco

Telekom Austria confirmed the acquisition of Slovenian landline operator Amis. The acquisition of the Slovenian cable operator, which is also present in Croatia, ensures additional growth potential to Telekom Austria. The parties did not disclose the price of the deal, but Slovenian media estimate it was worth about EUR 30 million.

Telekom Austria Acquires Slovenian Amis

Telekom Austria, which owns the second-biggest mobile telephony operator in Slovenia, Si.mobil, is reportedly expanding further in Slovenia. On Monday the Austrian telecom company reached an agreement on the acquisition of a telecommunication company Amis "Finance” newspaper and news agency STA reported. The purchase price amounts to EUR 30 million (USD 33.35 million).

Telekom: Ruttenstorfer, Exner-Wöhrer Voted into Supervisory Board

OMV-head Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer and the industrialist Karin Exner-Wöhrer from Salzburg have been appointed the new members of the supervisory board of Telekom Austria today, during the AGM. The two new members replace interim board members: ÖBIB CEO Rudolf Kemler and ÖBIB authorised representative Günter Leonhartsberger.
