Austria's largest state visit to China to date is about to take place. Four ministers will travel to China from 7 to 12 April with President Van der Bellen and Chancellor Kurz. 170 Austrian companies with a delegation of around 200 people are also on board. Schuler Acquires Majority Stake in Chinese Press Manufacturer
Schuler AG, a member of international technology Group Andritz, has signed a contract for the acquisition of a 51% stake in the Chinese press and machine tool manufacturer Yangzhou Metal Forming Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (Yadon). Yadon is a manufacturer of mechanical presses in China and has annual sales of approximately 120 million euros.

Andritz Signs EUR 100 Million LoI in Finland
Listed engineering Group Andritz has signed a letter of intent with Metsä Fibre to deliver key production technologies for a new bio-product pulp mill with an annual capacity of 1.3 million tons of pulp in Äänekoski, Finland. The order value for Andritz is over 100 million euros. Start-up of the planned mill is scheduled for August 2017.

Technology Group Andritz showed slight sales increase in the first half of 2014 in a still challenging overall economic environment. Sales increased by +1.9%. The order intake amounted to +18.0%. EBITA amounted to +37.7% and the EBITA margin was 5.0%.
