In the first quarter of 2017|18 (1 March to 31 May 2017), AGRANA improved its earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) from EUR 47.0 million in Q1 2016|17 to EUR 69.8 million. Revenues during the three months also rose slightly, from EUR 665.5 million to EUR 684.2 million.

Kapsch TrafficCom grew strongly in the 2016/17 fiscal year. Revenues increased by 23% to EUR 648.5 million, and the number of employees by more than 1,100 to 4,823. The operating profit (EBIT) was EUR 60.1 million and thus not far below the record of the previous year (EUR 62.3 million.). The EBIT margin amounted to 9.3% (11.9% in the previous year).
