Turkey saw a strong industrial production at the start of the third quarter, according to official data, which gives hope for an improved economic growth as the country is facing more and more economic difficulties.

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜIK), the country’s seasonally adjusted industrial production index increased by 4.6 percent in July compared to the same period last year and by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month. The figures exceeded the markets expectations, which were estimated at an annual growth of around 3.45 percent.
