Telekom Austria announced that its CEO Hannes Ametsreiter has prematurely terminated his contract. Rumor has it, that majority shareholder America Movil influenced the decision.

Today Telekom Austria announced that Hannes Ametsreiter has asked the Supervisory Board for a mutually agreed premature termination of his contract.
The Supervisory Board and Hannes Ametsreiter have agreed that he will resign as Chief Executive Officer of Telekom Austria AG as well as Chief Executive Officer of A1 Telekom Austria AG per 31 July 2015.
