Strong Sales Forecast for BWT
The Austrian water technology specialist counts on large sales growth rates for 2010 and 2011.
In an interview with the "BörseExpress", BWT investor relations representative Ralf Burchert says that the share repurchase that has taken place was also for the benefit of the shareholders. The share price should stabilize and the profits per share increase.
Gearing is at 15%, creating room for further investment without need to borrow. At the Austrian location, expansion investments for a volume of € 75m are to take place, as capacity limits have already been reached.
For 2010, sales are expected to exceed € 450m. Whether the profit of the previous year (€ 23m) will be achieved, is something still unclear. One-time effects were included in 2009, according to Burchert.
For 2011, the investor relations representative announces a sales target of € 500m.
What is still missing for the water conditioner BWT is end consumer reputation in order to achieve more listings. In this sense, top restaurateurs are to be offered a newly patented water filter technology for coffee machines. Technologies there are enough, according to Burchert.
