Strabag Builds Waste Incineration Plant in Slovenia
The Austrian construction group was awarded to build an incineration plant near Ljubljana. The order volume is about € 112m.
Strabag builds a waste incineration plan in Slovenia´s capital Ljubljana. The contract worth € 112.2m is expected to be closed in May, unless the two other competitors do not file a complaint. This was reported by the Slovenian news agency STA. Observers expect that the closing will not take place without previous complaints by the inferior bidders.
Besides Strabag, the consortium of the Slovenian Gorenje and the Italian Daneco Impiante and the consortium of the Slovenian companies Riko and Cestno Podjetje Ljubljana applied for the contract. Strabag submitted the best offer, after the price was lowered by € 15m. The construction time is about four years. The construction should begin in 2012.
