OSCE Permanent Council Prepares for Upcoming International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Holocaust remembrance was the focus of today's meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council at Vienna's Hofburg in light of the upcoming International Holocaust Remembrance Day (27 January).

Sir Andrew Burns, Chair of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, and Ambassador Roksanda Ninčić, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and Head of the Serbian Delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, addressed the Permanent Council.

Following the meeting of the Permanent Council, the Israeli Permanent Mission to the OSCE presented an exhibition outside the Neuer Saal, entitled “A Monument of Good Deeds - Dreams and Hopes of Children during the Holocaust”. The interactive exhibition is dedicated to the children who perished in the Holocaust and their legacies.
