After four years of delay Schlaff is reported to be planning the takeover of several Latvian transport companies.

According to a report of the Standard and the Latvian station TV3, Schlaff is preparing the purchase of the oil transport company "Ventspils Nafta" and the cargo ship company "Latvijas kugniecibas" as well as of all other companies involved in the oil transit business of the Baltic state. No figures relative to the alleged deal were mentioned.
