Large Saudi Delegation in Vienna
A memorandum of understanding in Austrian Federal Economic Chamber between the Austrian Republic and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be signed.
H.E. Ahmed Al Hakami ,Saudi Vice Minister of Economy & Planning, is leading a high ranking delegation to Austria for the 5th Meeting of the Saudi-Austrian Joint Committee, an Agreement on Economic, Trade, Industrial and Technological Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Austria and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed on 31st of March 2004.
Vice Minister Al Hakami will meet H.E. Ms. Bernadette Marianne Gierlinger, Vice Minister for Foreign Economic Policy and European Integration in the Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth. Al Hakami will be accompanied by a 23 men strong delegation with representatives of all important Ministries and Authorities of Saudi Arabia (Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Commerce, Education, Finance, Health, Water & Electricity, Municipality and Rural Affairs, Petrol & Mineral Ressources, Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and more). Bilateral talks will be held on July 9th and 10th 2012.
Furthermore a business delegation headed by the Chairman of the Saudi Council of Chambers, Mr. Abdullah S. Al-Mobty. A Saudi-Austrian Forum will be held in the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna with more than 100 companies registered to attend. Chairman Al-Mobty will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr. Richard Schenz, Vice President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
