Kapsch and Google Enterprise Enter into a Partnership

The two companies' intend to offer “powerful, innovative solutions for secure communication and efficient cooperation” in a long-term partnership. Kapsch BusinessCom has -according to its own statements- the necessary local expertise, especially high security requirements and a nationwide service network for the distribution of Google's cloud services.

Jochen Borenich, Member of the Board of Kapsch BusinessCom says: "Cloud computing is currently the most important technology issue. Our customers can have safe, efficient and cost-efficient access to scalable services with it."

Within the framework of this cooperation, Kapsch BusinessCom becomes the largest local Google Enterprise Partner. This involves the distribution and support of Google Search Appliances for efficient and fast retrieval of internal company information, as well as of Google Apps, Google's suite of hosted services for communication and collaboration. Encompassed are mail, calendar, video and office applications embedded in a collaboration portal. Google's security, spam filtering and archiving solutions powered by Postini will also be offered in future.
