Hungary Amending Figures of Budget Deficit

Hungarian Finance and Economy Minister Mihaly Varga announced that the budget deficit of 2013 will be below the target after it was lowered dramatically.

The preliminary budget deficit in 2013 comes at HUF 930bn (around € 3.1bn) and will remain 2.3 to 2.7 percent of GDP below the targeted budget deficit. However, this announcement by the Finance and Economy Minister Varga only comes after the target was increased dramatically last month.
