At the end of October voestalpine will shut down its rail manufacturing plant TSTG Schienen Technik GmbH & Co KG in Duisburg, Germany.

“We will close Duisburg these days,” CEO of voestalpine Wolfgang Eder announced on Monday. In the first half year, the steel producer assumed the shutdown will take place only at the end of the year. The production locations has amounted losses in in the double-digit million range in the past years.
