Erste Group to be Relocated to the Czech Republic?

CEO of Erste Group, Andreas Treichl, has informed Czech President Milos Zeman about the bank’s intention to move to Prague in the coming years.

According to the Czech President, the Austrian lender is considering to relocate its headquarters. On Wednesday Zeman announced that he was informed by Treichl that the financial institute is considering moving its headquarters from Vienna to Prague. However, further details were not mentioned.
