Dunkin’ Donuts Struggling in Austria
US bakery and coffee shop chain Dunkin’ Donuts wants to continue operation in Austria. The creditors of the insolvent firm agreed to a reorganization plan.
Within two years the creditors will be repaid 20 percent of their claims.
In total, Dunkin’ Donuts Austrian franchisee, M&D GmbH, has debts to the tune of EUR 4.2 million (USD 4.7 million), mostly owed to banks and financial service providers.
At the moment the firm operates five venues in Vienna.
