The new CEO of T-Mobile Austria Andreas Bierwirth wants to cut costs drastically. The profitability of the telecommunication industry would suffer from the decreasing prices.

At his first press conference, Bierwirth demonstrated pessimism. “I think that the Austrian telecommunication market is damaged. The demand growth, but there nothing is left.”
Until 2015, expenses should be cut by € 100m at least. This corresponds to 15% of total costs, Bierwirth explains. Next year, T-Mobile Austria will record a decline in revenues, Bierwirth anticipates.…
