Aircraft Component Maker FACC Moves Operations Partially to the US

FACC AG has established an additional plant in Wichita/USA for the purpose of expanding the company's global presence in repair and maintenance.

FACC is extending its activities in the field of maintenance, repair and overhaul in civil aviation.

In addition to the main plant in Upper-Austria/Ried im Innkreis another plant has been built in Wichita in the USA

The new subsidiary in Wichita, FACC Solutions Inc., already started operations in 2014.

Through this expansion, the capacity for maintenance services and repair activities is enhanced enabling increased efficiency and cost optimization on the one hand, while ensuring quick customer service of a high quality on the other.

FACC AG is a leading company in the design, development, and production of advanced, fiber-reinforced composite components and systems for the aviation industry. Their range of products extends from structural components for the fuselage and wings to engine components and complete passenger cabins for commercial aircraft, business jets, and helicopters.

FACC produces parts for all the major aircraft manufacturers, such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, Sukhoi, and COMAC, as well as for engine manufacturers and subcontractors to the aircraft manufacturers.

In the 2013/14 financial year, FACC achieved annual sales of 547.4 million euros. The company employs a workforce of over 3,100 employees worldwide.
