Again Losses at Wienerberger
Analysts of Erste Group, RCB (Raiffeisen Centrobank) and UBS expect the Austrian brick manufacturer to widen losses.
Tomorrow, Wienerberger Group will report its first quarter results of 2012. Compared to the first quarter of 2011, the company is expected to increase losses further.
On average, a negative EBIT of € 46.6m is anticipated. This would correspond to a rise of 28.5% compared to the reference period. Net losses should rise by 5.1% to € 55.3m.
The analysts estimate Wienerberger´s EBITDA to reach € 5.2m after € 11.8m in the first quarter of 2012. Revenues are expected to be down by 2.5%. On average, revenues of € 385.1m are forecasted. This is mainly due to the lower building activity.
For Erste Group, the market development is stable in principle. Nevertheless, there are difficulties in Eastern Europe. UBS sees rising revenues in the U.S. and in Germany.
